About the Role

As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals for our military customers. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all food is compliant with allergens and that our kitchen is running smoothly. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £14.61.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals for our military customers
  • Support with food orders and ensure that all food is compliant with allergens
  • Follow recipe cards to prepare, cook, and serve a range of meals
  • Complete daily paperwork to cover due diligence
  • Assist with deliveries and stock checks/placing orders
  • Place food orders and maintain kitchen records
  • Monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries
  • Assist in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans

Requirements
  • Relevant culinary qualification
  • 5 years proven work history in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Previous experience of working in a kitchen
  • Certificate in food safety (or willing to obtain via our online e-learning)
  • Excellent team player and communicator
