Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NNDR professional to join our team at Vox Network Consultants. As a Senior NNDR Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining excellent working relationships with stakeholders, external agencies, and voluntary organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Principal NNDR & Database Officer in monitoring services against performance assessment criteria, ensuring accurate interpretation of information and evidence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to NNDR customers across all channels, including the NNDR contact centre.
  • Develop a deep understanding of NNDR legislation, including billing and collection, mandatory and discretionary reliefs, database maintenance, and recovery aspects.
  • Prepare accounts for write-offs and raise refund requests, including statements of accounts.
  • Liaise with the Valuation Office Agency, raising Billing Authority reports and exchanging necessary information.
  • Collaborate with property inspectors on property database maintenance.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of NNDR legislation and regulations.
  • Experience working with the Academy database.
  • Ability to work independently with a laptop, as a link to the council's system will be provided.
  • Experience in housing associations or council environments.
  • Understanding of equal opportunities in employment and service delivery.
