We are looking for an experienced Development Planner to join our Cambridge team at Bidwells. As a key member of our 60+ strong planning team, you will contribute to the growth and regeneration of the city, working on high-profile projects, including City Centre redevelopments, Science and Tech, Research and Development projects, and mixed-use developments.

About the Role

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from leading smaller schemes independently to collaborating with the wider team on national or regional projects. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing commercial and specific planning advice to clients, preparing high-quality planning submissions, and representing clients' interests throughout the planning process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement planning strategies to achieve clients' objectives
  • Collaborate with the wider planning team on national or regional projects
  • Contribute to the preparation of high-quality planning submissions and Development Plan Representations
Requirements
  • Chartered membership with the RTPI
  • Proven experience in town planning, with a strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
