Job Title: Production Operator I EIMEA
Job Overview:
The Production Operator I reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor and is responsible for operating equipment and affiliated processes in compliance with legal and company rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares raw materials and packaging, identifying and transporting the right quantities to the appropriate production area, and reporting any deviations from normal.
- Operates processing equipment in line with process instructions and procedures.
- Monitors equipment to maintain desired run rates and completes initial testing and release of products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Checks labels and packaging material for correct labeling and ensures compliance with existing rules and instructions.
- Packages final products in accordance with instructions and H.B. Fuller quality standards.
- Carries out all operations in compliance with expected Quality Standards and Operating procedures of H.B. Fuller, while respecting all legal and company EHS-rules.
- Responsible for housekeeping in their area of responsibility.
- Carries out any other duties requested from the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Requirements
- Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma.
- No prior experience required.
- Knowledge of common software programs (MS office).
- Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations, and quality procedures and instructions.
- Availability to work in shifts.
Preferred Requirements
- 1 year experience in an industrial environment.
- Understanding of basic English.
Physical Environment
- Required to stand for long periods of time.
- Walk and climb stairs.
- Use hands to remove or lift boxes.
- Stretch and reach with arms extended.
- Stoop and bend.
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Temperature, dust, smell, and noise are under normal chemical environment conditions.
