Job Summary:

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a renowned industrial and commercial laundry business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical fabrication and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the efficient operation of plant and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineer and Engineering Manager to identify and resolve long-running problems and implement suitable solutions.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Undertake repairs to equipment safely and timely, ensuring production is updated on progress.
  • Communicate any risks of safety or equipment failure to the Manager.
  • Work closely with the Engineer on the opposite shift to ensure effective handover of ongoing activities and sharing of information.

Working Hours:

  • 4 nights per week: Monday - Thursday, 9pm – 7am
  • Or: Earlies one week, lates the next

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Fabrication/Maintenance
  • Electrical Installation Maintenance – desirable
  • Electronic fault finding to component level – desirable
  • Knowledge of other engineering disciplines including pneumatics, hydraulics, and steam systems – desirable
  • Electrical Installation 18th Edition – desirable
