Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Dayshift

Zachary Daniels is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a dayshift basis. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering team in maintaining the highest standards of mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with the mechanical and electrical teams to maintain plant availability and meet operational commitments.
  • Assist with machine improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Monitor, fault find, maintain, and repair a wide range of equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, and specialist treatment process machinery.
  • Apply first-level maintenance activities to all onsite assets, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Perform large plant complex repairs, using breathing apparatus and working in confined spaces as required.
  • Develop new skills both within and outside your core discipline, contributing to the growth and development of the team.
  • Work on fixed plant at Water and Waste Water Treatment sites, fault finding, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment.
