About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our Kingsbury factory team in Tamworth. As a key member of our in-house maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the metal support structure of the kiln car and dryer car fleet
  • Remove corroded metal parts using appropriate power tools
  • Perform welding and repairs using specialized equipment
  • Define materials and consumable requirements for work plans
  • Assist the production team in removing and replacing refractory supports in kiln cars
  • Support the maintenance department as needed
  • Participate in the PIP Programme and 5S's and visual management techniques
About You

We are looking for an experienced fabricator/welder with a strong background in manufacturing and factory environments. You will be committed to safe working practices and have a good understanding of health and safety best practices.

You will be proficient in measuring equipment, have bench work experience, and be able to work from engineering drawings. You will also have experience in MIG and oxyacetylene welding, as well as the use of handheld power tools.
