**Control & Instrumentation Engineer Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at EDF Energy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C&I Engineering, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful candidate will engineer and specify work to achieve the station's objectives, using operational experience in line with the station's Corrective Action Programme. They will write and approve safe systems of work with engineered solutions to correct defects, identifying tasks that support repair, while ensuring resources, materials, and procedures are planned into work packages.
The role requires a minimum of an HNC in Measurement and Control Engineering, or equivalent. A background in C&I Engineering/Maintenance in heavy industry is essential, with a record of troubleshooting and fault-finding on complex electronic and pneumatic control circuits.
The salary range for this role is between £40,069 and £84,892, with starting salaries within the range of £40,069 to £71,101. The position is full-time, site-based, and offers a competitive benefits package.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Engineer and specify work to achieve the station's objectives
- Write and approve safe systems of work with engineered solutions to correct defects
- Identify tasks that support repair, while ensuring resources, materials, and procedures are planned into work packages
- Provide advice and information to improve maintenance work instructions and check sheets
- Create risk assessments and support developing issues identified during execution week
- Act as a first point of contact for technical issues and Field Supervisor for technical contracts
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of an HNC in Measurement and Control Engineering, or equivalent
- Background in C&I Engineering/Maintenance in heavy industry
- Record of troubleshooting and fault-finding on complex electronic and pneumatic control circuits
