About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out minor general and fabric maintenance tasks, as well as planned and reactive maintenance across multiple stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled, including fire alarm call point tests, water temperature checks, and shower spray head clean and chlorination.
  • Perform weekly store defrost programme.
  • Conduct minor building fabric repairs, decorating tasks, plumbing tasks, and joinery tasks.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks as required, all within our Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Requirements
  • A broad range of practical skills and experience in a trade, with the ability to complete tasks right first time within a pre-determined timescale.
  • Positive and proactive approach, with good customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation and the ability to organise and prioritise your workload.
  • IT skills, including knowledge of using a tablet and Microsoft Office, would be an advantage.
  • Must hold a full UK driver's license for mobile roles.
  • Be physically fit, with the ability to move and lift heavy items and use ladders.
