Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to oversee the delivery of our funded environmental projects. The successful candidate will lead our team, ensuring effective project execution and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans for successful delivery
  • Collaborate with directors to maintain a strategic overview of the organization
  • Supervise part-time staff members to achieve project objectives
  • Record and evaluate project progress, providing feedback to stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain systems, resources, and procedures for project success
  • Design and execute comprehensive communications strategies
  • Contribute to new funding bids and revenue growth initiatives
  • Manage project assets and finances
  • Implement a new CRM system
  • Present regular reports to directors

Requirements

  • Strong passion for climate and nature conservation
  • Experience in staff supervision and development
  • Knowledge of key environmental issues, particularly nature conservation and active travel
  • Able to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of the voluntary sector ethos
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Procurement and contracting expertise
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Inclusive leadership style

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
