About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to work as part of our Boden Group team in Devon. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while contributing to the success of our organisation.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
  2. Implement planned plumbing maintenance, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Manage ventilation systems, water systems, and steam operations, taking into account medical gas knowledge where relevant.
  4. Prioritize health and safety concerns related to ventilation, water, and steam systems, promoting a safe working environment.
  5. Utilise handheld devices to complete tasks efficiently, enhancing productivity.
  6. Collaborate with various teams, including estates, direct labour, and contracted labour, to achieve shared objectives.

A successful candidate will also undergo a DBS check, reflecting our commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity.

Remuneration Details

The estimated annual salary range for this Mechanical Engineer position is £30,960-£36,480 (approximately £15-£18 per hour on an umbrella or CIS basis), depending on experience and qualifications.
