Job DescriptionThis 25 hour contract requires flexibility across five days a week. As a key member of our Retail Management team, you'll play a vital role in achieving store goals and targets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Communication
- Setting up team briefs and communicating store actions and targets
- Cascading business priorities and driving actions to achieve them
- Effectively delegating tasks within the team
- Communicating and championing current business initiatives
- Providing clear and concise communication during management absence
- Customer Focus
- Collaborating with the management team to enhance customer-centric culture in-store and within the team
- Driving conversion, footfall, and service KPIs
- Adapting approaches to meet customer needs and improve service
- Operations
- Maintaining a safe and secure working environment for colleagues and customers
- Supporting management in ensuring Health and Safety compliance
- Completing price events and promotional activities
- Driving delivery processes and productivity
- Ensuring daily replenishment and size availability checks
- Visual & Commercial
- Supporting visual merchandising standards and exceptional company layouts
- Conducting daily walkthroughs to identify visual attention areas
- Analyzing data to ensure commercial file accuracy and identifying opportunities
- People
- Proactively recruiting top talent and ensuring thorough inductions
- Coaching sales advisors and providing feedback
- Managing difficult conversations for the benefit of the store and individual
- Supporting recognition and diversity initiatives
- Cost & Budgeting
- Awareness of store performance and controllable costs
- Checking daily deployments for staffing sufficiency
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of retail practices are also essential.
