Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Technical Team at Curve Theatre as the Assistant Head of Wardrobe (Maternity Cover). This is a part-time, annualised hours, Fixed-Term Maternity cover contract (up to 12 months) that will provide an opportunity to work on a variety of productions and contribute to the success of our theatre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Wardrobe in facilitating costume requirements for all in-house and visiting productions, including pre-production, running, and maintenance.
- Ensure all productions are presented to the highest possible standards.
- Supervise the temporary wardrobe and wig staff in the absence of the Head of Wardrobe.
- Attend production meetings, technical rehearsals, and dress rehearsals as necessary.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a comparable role with a broad understanding of costume-related disciplines.
- A commitment to achieving high standards.
- The ability to work quickly under pressure.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
