Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Pennine Care NHS FT. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of mental health and therapy services to children, young people, and families in Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of evidence-based, empathic, and effective mental health services to children and families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement projects.
- Collaborate with clinical psychologists and other team members to provide high-quality care and support.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with children, young people, and families.
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and provide feedback to case managers.
- Support the development of group offers and post-diagnostic workshops for parents.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality supervision, reflective group discussions, and psychological therapies training days.
- Upper second-class honors degree or higher in psychology.
- Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Experience as a Psychology Assistant or in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of child development and mental health.
