Join Our Team as a Group Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Group Management Accountant to join our team at a reputable company in Greater Fareham. As a Group Management Accountant, you will play a key role in improving the accounts function and providing valuable insights to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce management accounts, including group consolidated accounts for the Board and private equity owners
  • Create, review, and reconcile group balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Support year-end statutory reporting and collaborate with relevant team members
  • Ensure high-quality financial data reporting and accuracy, addressing issues in current management accounts
  • Redesign and resolve issues in the balance sheet, including clarifying accruals, and provide guidance to the general finance team
  • Focus on reviewing rather than inputting to the General Ledger; ensure accuracy in financial data managed by the Finance Controller and their team
  • Develop and enhance the management accounts pack to provide more insightful information for management and improve reporting for external stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in a practice background, preferably from a small to medium firm
  • Background in outsourcing practice dealing with management accounts for clients is advantageous
  • Candidates nearing qualification or transitioning from practice to industry
  • Experience with Netsuite desirable
  • Open /approachable personality
  • Happy with problem solving
  • Open to Newly qualified with 2 years post qualified experience
  • 1st time mover practice to industry (Not essential)
  • Management accountant experience from Industry and practice backgrounds
  • Must hold
  • Professional accounting qualification with membership (desirable
