About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary team, working with patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior medical advice and support to the team, ensuring timely and effective management of patient care.
  • Assess and manage complex patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local GPs, other healthcare professionals, and community services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months.
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Excellent knowledge in psychiatry, excellent clinical skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
