As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team to deliver high-quality personal care and services to our residents. Your focus will be on delivering excellent standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team, and ensuring continuity of services to residents.
About the Role
- Assisting residents with their personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and signs of infection, and escalating identified risks in a timely manner.
- Practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks, maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to collaborate with colleagues and residents.
- Demonstrating initiative and respect towards residents and other people in the home.
- Being an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
- Being adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
