**About the Role:**

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Match Performance in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and operating data models to support the strategic, regulatory, and operational needs of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement large-scale data models with high availability, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate effectively across technical and business domains.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data models in line with the ICT data strategy, ensuring security, integrity, durability, and optimal performance of all data.
  • Work closely with the Business Improvement and Business Intelligence teams to understand reporting requirements and model data to meet reporting needs.
  • Lead a small team of Data Engineers, motivating and coaching them to ensure efficient data manipulations and delivery of project and BAU data model updates.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in defining, leading, and operating large-scale data models with high availability.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and relevant technologies, including Agile methodologies for technical solution delivery.
  • Experience with data platform development, managing large datasets, and implementing data solutions to support business objectives.

  • A competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
