Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Field Engineer Specialist to join our team on a 6-month rolling contract basis. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working towards delivering timely, cost-effective, and quality solutions while adopting safe working practices at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer focus.
  • Technical Competencies: Possess a strong understanding of General Telecoms Systems, including AC/DC Power Systems, Rectification and Power Distribution Systems, and Radio Frequency (RF) Transmission and Receiver Systems.
  • Experience: Have experience in working with Radio Frequency (RF) Transmission and Receiver Systems, including Spectrum Allocation, Air Interface, Analogue to Digital Conversion, Modulation Techniques, GSM, UMTS, and LTE Fundamentals.
  • Network Architecture: Have knowledge of Radio Access Network and Core Network Architecture, including Cellular Network Fundamentals, Mobility Management, and Cell Planning.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Possess experience in maintaining and repairing BTS/RAN + Microwave Radio equipment, including Huawei BTS, Ericsson Radio System, Nokia Airscale, and Microwave equipment from Siae.
  • Working at Heights: Be comfortable working at heights and have experience with climbing.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in General Telecoms Systems, Radio Frequency (RF) Transmission and Receiver Systems, and Network Architecture.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Telecoms industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
