About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Analyst at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Criminal Justice Liaison Service and ensuring the efficient performance and data support service to our partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the total data needs of the Criminal Justice Liaison Service
  • Exercise professional accountability and responsibility
  • Ensure relevant performance management information is captured, analysed and disseminated as required
  • Develop, improve and maintain databases, as well as implement database changes
  • Have an understanding of the Criminal Justice Liaison Service's KPIs and ensure team compliance with Trust CQUINs
  • Review performance data on a monthly basis and verify quality to agreed specifications
  • Be responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of the performance regime
  • Understand contractual data performance targets and ensure alignment with projects/roles
  • Develop and implement other data targets to monitor performance based on contractual requirements
  • Monitor reliability and performance trends and develop improvement proposals
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Good standard of education, GCSE or Equivalent including English and Mathematics
  • Previous experience of providing administrative support to a team within the NHS or relevant Health & Social Care
  • In-depth experience of using Micro Office Excel and other associated software, such as Access, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Recent experience of creating, designing, implementing and maintaining databases and reviewing and redeveloping existing data capture systems
  • Experience of extrapolating, analysing and organising data to provide reports for stakeholders
  • Experience of organising and delivering clinical supervision to junior staff along with maintenance of records
  • Experience of audits and research
