Subway Sandwich Expert

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sandwich Expert to join our team in Llanidloes, working as part of a small team in a fast-paced Subway department.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic with a keen approach to working both individually and as part of a team. As a Sandwich Expert, you will display exceptional customer service, greeting and interacting with customers in a helpful and friendly manner, creating a pleasant experience while completing orders.

A typical shift may involve preparing sandwich ingredients, including baking bread and washing, cutting, slicing, chopping, and grating vegetables, in accordance with established guidelines.

Key tasks include:

• Demonstrating a complete understanding of menu items and explaining options to customers accurately.
• Neatly preparing sandwiches according to customer orders.
• Restocking sandwich ingredients to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
• Using the till to record orders, take payment, and give correct change where necessary.
• Understanding and adhering to all Subway and company operating processes, policies, and procedures.
• Adhering to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when storing, preparing, serving food, and cleaning the department.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately £8.50 per hour, paid in excess of statutory entitlements, plus benefits including holiday pay, maternity and paternity leave, outstanding training and development opportunities, and a generous staff discount in all our SPAR stores.
