We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team at the West of Scotland Regional Heart and Lung Centre. The successful candidate will have extensive training in coronary intervention and a strong background in cardiology.

The post will involve a high volume of coronary intervention procedures, with a full share on the regional PPCI rota. The candidate will also participate in daytime CCU rota and outpatient cardiology in the partnering health boards.

The department has a strong reputation for providing excellent patient care, with a full range of investigative, outpatient and inpatient facilities on site. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform coronary intervention procedures with a high level of skill and expertise.
  2. Participate in daytime CCU rota and outpatient cardiology in the partnering health boards.
  3. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive training in coronary intervention.
  2. Strong background in cardiology.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
