Care Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Day Senior Care Assistant to join our Hartford Care family. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support and care to our residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and leading the shift team, ensuring that our high standards of care are consistently delivered. This will involve delegating tasks effectively, motivating staff members, and working collaboratively with colleagues to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents.
You will also be responsible for conducting observations, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records. Your excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems will be essential in ensuring seamless communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will be required to have a flexible approach to working hours, being able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities as needed.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care, holding an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care. You will also require excellent communication skills, a compassionate and caring nature, and the ability to lead and motivate staff members.
A strong commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents is essential, as is your ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for this position.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is approximately £20,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your basic salary, you will receive a £2,000 attraction payment, paid in two instalments: £1,000 on joining and £1,000 on completion of the probationary period.
