Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Joinery Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy joinery shop. The successful candidate will have a strong background in joinery and woodworking, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of talented joiners and carpenters.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the joinery shop, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Team Management: Manage and lead a team of talented joiners and carpenters, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, architects, and designers to understand their joinery requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Project Management: Ensure the timely completion of joinery projects, meeting quality standards and client expectations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control the joinery shop's inventory, materials, and equipment, ensuring their availability and proper maintenance.
- Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for the team.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that joinery work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.
- Industry Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in joinery techniques and materials.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote joinery services and attract new clients.
- Experience: Proven experience in joinery and woodworking.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
