Certain Advantage is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our Calibration & Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE). This will involve fault finding and repair of test equipment, supporting routine calibrations, commissioning of Test Equipment and drift analysis.

You will be working within an experienced team of Calibration & Maintenance Engineers supporting complex test platforms in the manufacture and test of complex missile systems. You will be trained to calibrate and support special to type factory test equipment using a range of technologies, DC to Microwave.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Calibrate and maintain test equipment to component level.
  2. Support routine calibrations and commissioning of Test Equipment.
  3. Conduct fault finding and repair of test equipment.
  4. Drift analysis and calibration of test equipment.

Requirements:

  1. HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  2. Experience and knowledge in the calibration of test equipment and maintenance of test systems to component level.
  3. Able to utilise instructions, handbooks, drawings or specifications to provide technical advice/guidance.
  4. Good understanding of calibration principles and processes.
  5. Analytical and problem solving skills.
  6. A good understanding of SAP would be desirable.
  7. Experience of working on Environmental Chambers is an advantage.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience and knowledge in down to component level required.
  2. Able to utilise instructions, handbooks, drawings or specifications to provide technical advice/guidance, fault finding and repairs down to component level.
  3. Experience and knowledge in using RF test equipment is desirable.
  4. Variety of test systems such as DIO, AIO, RF, temperature and communication systems.
