About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Small Animal Nurse to join our team at The Veterinary Clinic in Birmingham. As a Veterinary Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and providing excellent customer service.

Job Summary

This part-time position involves working 30 hours per week over 4 days, with no weekends or out-of-hours work required. You will be responsible for assisting veterinarians during consultations and surgical procedures, as well as providing routine nursing care and administering medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians during consultations and surgical procedures
  • Provide routine nursing care, including cleaning and preparing treatment areas
  • Administer medications and perform other medical tasks as directed by veterinarians
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
