Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Bronglais General Hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability), you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of mental health conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, depression, and eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist psychiatric care to children and young people with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients and their families.
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
