The role of Electronics Project Lead at Orion Electrotech focuses on driving profitable sales growth from both new and existing customers, while providing technical and engineering support to the internal organization, subcontractors, and customers.

Main Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management - Build and grow market share within the existing customer base by meeting their requirements and delivering exceptional service.

New Business Development - Identify and target key accounts to increase market share, aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Collaboration with External Sales - Work closely with external sales teams to provide specialist support for both new and existing business opportunities.

Engineering Support - Provide ongoing technical support and act as a key point of contact for customers and internal departments, ensuring smooth operations.

Manufacturing Oversight - Manage and oversee the company's manufacturing capabilities and expertise, ensuring operational efficiency.

Competitor Awareness - Maintain awareness of direct competitors and industry trends to help develop a successful and competitive marketing strategy.

Candidate Profile:
  • Well-presented, professional individual.
  • Qualified Engineer (preferably in Electronics).
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2 or similar).
  • Strong background in assembly, including Bills of Materials (BoM), testing, rework, and soldering.
  • Extensive knowledge of electronic components, PCB assembly, and kitting.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative approach to business development and generating new opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, with a natural desire to deliver excellent customer service.
  • High-energy individual with strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent commercial acumen.
