Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at Trial Balance, a highly successful and well-run accountancy firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. End-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients on different pay schedules
  2. Processing BACS payments
  3. Submission of all HMRC returns
  4. Uploading pension data to appropriate pension providers
  5. Completion of year-end submissions
  6. Dealing with client payroll queries

About the Role: This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will have experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably in a bureau or high-volume environment. The role can be offered on a part-time basis or can be made up to full-time with the addition of some bookkeeping/accounting duties.
