About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Robertson Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our schools and other facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and disinfecting all work surfaces, floors, and paintwork in designated areas
  • Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping general flooring throughout the site
  • Carrying out planned and ad-hoc cleaning duties within the building and to equipment located throughout the school
  • Ensuring that facilities and services operate in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures
  • Reporting all accidents and incidents as appropriate

About You

  • General experience of cleaning and maintenance
  • Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety best practices
  • Awareness of COSHH regulations
  • Takes initiative and works reliably
