Job Title: Prebuild Supervisor - Project Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Prebuild Supervisor at MJ Quinn, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our Openreach projects in the Midlands region. You will be responsible for ensuring Spine and TRR Crews are working efficiently, safely, and receiving high-quality results through performance measures.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Work as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the department by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Raise and follow up on non-conformance reports to ensure actions are identified, pursued, and resolved
  • Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn's values and operational policies to avoid harm to yourself and others
  • Accurately report Spine & TRR progress to the Flex Manager, Project Manager, and customer
  • Attend meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders
  • Continuously improve efficiencies and processes to ensure build completion in the most cost-effective manner
  • Ensure all engineers' accreditations are up to date and relevant to their job role
  • Weekly review and capture of KPI data to manage crews' performance
  • Ensure all dependencies are completed in line with the initial deployment plan, enabling efficient delivery for PON build teams
  • Manage TM requirements and compliance across all pre-build activities as required
  • Ensure timely and accurate flow of information/documentation between the back office and the Subcontractor/DL resource
  • Implement a robust auditing regime in line with MJQ Quality team
  • Rectify defects in a timely manner as per customer guidelines
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by the line manager


Requirements:


  • Hold a full driving license for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 points
  • Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities
  • Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Have a high standard of numeracy
  • Be educated to a G.C.S.E level B+ in Mathematics & English (or equivalent)
  • Be computer literate
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • DBS check to be completed prior to start date
  • A legal right to work in the UK
