We are a leading national charity seeking an exceptional Philanthropy Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of high-value giving.

This is an incredible opportunity to lead on fostering connections with high-net-worth individuals and leveraging their generosity to make a tangible difference. In this role, you'll identify and cultivate new prospects, craft tailored supporter journeys, and design innovative engagement activities to inspire long-term commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivating New Prospects: Identify, research, and cultivate new prospects, creating a robust pipeline to support long-term income goals.
  • Designing Supporter Journeys: Design and deliver personalised supporter journeys, including events, one-on-one meetings, and strategic communications tailored to individual donors.
  • Fundraising Strategy: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align fundraising strategies with the charity's mission and strategic goals.
  • Executing Philanthropy Strategy: Shape and execute an effective philanthropy strategy to meet income targets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Donor Management: Utilise research tools and data systems to manage donor information and track the effectiveness of fundraising efforts.
Person Specification:
  • Relationship Management Expertise: Proven expertise in relationship management, particularly with HNWIs or major donors.
  • Strategy Development: Ability to develop and execute a tailored strategy to inspire and secure major gifts.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with flair in persuasion and influence.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure, maintaining attention to detail.
  • Collaboration: A collaborative team player, proactive, and highly organised.
  • Research Skills: Experience in researching and identifying significant donor opportunities.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
