Clinical Specialist Radiographer - MRI

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our Imaging team at The Princess Grace Hospital. As a Specialist MRI Radiographer, you will provide a customer-focused high-quality diagnostic radiography service to our patients and service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients
  • Work closely with Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways
  • Adjust and utilize the appropriate sequences tailored to the specific scan requirements, collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
  • Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
  • Assist with staff orientation and training of new team members, audits, and QA
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance records
Requirements:
  • HCPC registered
  • Degree within Radiography
  • Extensive experience working within MRI, either as a Band 6 or Band 7 equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of processes and procedures within MRI scanning
  • In-depth knowledge of MRI safety on patients with implants
  • Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners
