Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team at Adecco. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the management of tax compliance for our diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and accuracy.
  • Calculate tax liabilities and inform clients of their tax obligations, while exploring potential tax savings.
  • Submit tax returns and payments on time to avoid penalties for late filings.
  • Provide tax planning advice to clients, helping them optimise their tax position and take advantage of available reliefs and exemptions.
  • Advise clients on tax-efficient structures for their business operations and transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions.
  • Resolve queries and investigations raised by HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business and tax needs.
  • Support junior staff members through training and sharing best practices in tax compliance and advisory.
  • Collaborate closely with partners, providing assistance on complex tax matters and contributing to strategic planning for clients.
  • Work with audit and accounting teams to deliver integrated services to clients, ensuring comprehensive consideration of their financial affairs.
Requirements
  • Senior Tax experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential to excel in this position.
  • Tax Assistant experience: If you don't have senior-level experience, we also welcome candidates with over 5 years of experience as a Tax Assistant.
  • Personal tax knowledge: Familiarity with personal tax is desirable for this role.
  • Practice environment experience: Proficiency in tax within a practice environment is required.
