Job Responsibilities
  1. Teaching and Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver engaging science lessons across various disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, to students of different age groups and abilities.
  2. Curriculum Development: Design and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and inspires curiosity and critical thinking in our students.
  3. Student Support: Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them to enhance their understanding and confidence in science.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to share best practices, participate in professional development, and contribute to the overall success of the school.
  5. Extracurricular Activities: Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs and field trips, to enrich the students' educational experience.
  6. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and the wider school community.
Requirements
  • Degree: A degree in a Science-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
  • Qualifications: A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching science at secondary school level is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
