Job Opportunity: Conveyancing Paralegal

Legado Recruitment is seeking a skilled Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team in the Haywards Heath area.

This full-time role is based in the office, offering the chance to be part of a professional and friendly environment.

You will play a key role in managing a busy workload, utilizing your ability to work well under pressure and exercise initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the progression of conveyancing transactions, including exchanging contracts, dealing with completions, preparing contracts, transfers, deeds, and correspondence
  • Handle completion statements, raise solicitors' invoices, and draft contracts etc
  • Take instructions from and liaise with clients
  • Undertake online searches and complete Land Registry and SDLT forms
  • Provide secretarial assistance to residential conveyancing lawyers.
  • Produce documents using the firm's case management software
  • Utilize excellent administrative and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal, (Conveyancing Legal Secretaries will also be considered who are looking for career advancement)
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good initiative and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel etc.
