Teaching Assistant Opportunity in a SEN School

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team at a successful SEN school in Winsford. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing individualized attention and care to help them thrive in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEND on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored assistance to meet their unique needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEND or similar experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the process
