An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Deputy Ward Manager to join Jupiter Recruitment in South West London. This role is ideal for a professional looking to further develop their career in mental health leadership.

This leading mental health treatment centre provides fast access to high-quality treatment for a range of conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress, and eating disorders.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As the Deputy Ward Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment and that statutory requirements are met
  • Supervising a defined group of team members and contributing to their overall CPD, mandatory training, and appraisal process
  • Acting as a role model to promote a culture of learning development, inquiry, and a team vision
  • Contributing to the process of collaboratively assessing and acting on risks of harm, danger, and abuse
  • Deputising for the ward manager in their absence
  • Implementing, monitoring, and evaluating therapeutic interventions within an overall care programme

The successful candidate will have experience in eating disorders, autistic spectrum disorder, and learning disability.

Jupiter Recruitment offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £48,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits, including a £5,000 welcome bonus, 33 days annual leave, and career development opportunities.
