Pertemps Bond: 7.5 Tonne Drivers Needed

We are currently seeking experienced 7.5 Tonne drivers to join our team at Pertemps Bond. As a 7.5 Tonne driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to stores throughout the UK.

The Role

You will be working on a PM shift, delivering goods to stores in approximately 2-3 drops per day. The role involves:

  • Delivering goods to stores throughout the UK
  • Working 12 hour shifts daily
  • 4 shifts per week, Monday to Saturday
  • Multidrop deliveries
  • Heavy lifting involved
Rates of Pay

We offer a competitive rate of pay, with:

  • 4 X 12 hour shifts per week - £15.17 per hour
  • Additional overtime shifts available, payable at time and a half
Estimated Earnings

Your estimated earnings will be:

  • Basic weekly: £720.00+ (based on 4 shifts per week)
  • With 1 OT shift: £990.00+ (based on 5 shifts per week)
  • Basic monthly: £3100.00+ (based on 4 shifts per week)
  • With 1 OT shift: £4300.00+ (based on 5 shifts per week)
  • Basic annually: £37k+ (based on 4 shifts per week)
  • With 1 OT shift: £51K (based on 5 shifts per week)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A valid 7.5 Tonne (Cat C1) license, Full CPC and Digi card
  • A minimum of six months 7.5 Tonne or Class 2 experience
  • Less than 3 points on your license, for insurance purposes
  • A good understanding of health and safety
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers
