We are partnering with a Local Authority in Bexley to support the appointment of an Application Developer, on a 3-month contract, which is likely to be extended at our client’s discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £348.00 - £459.93 per hour

About the Role

To succeed as an Application Developer, you will be responsible for migrating existing online forms into Drupal webforms, enhancing them as required to improve the customer service experience for residents. You will work closely with the Digital Manager to develop a user-centered approach to self-service solutions for high-volume service areas across the authority.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Migrating online forms and making enhancements to improve the customer experience
  • Supporting the Digital Manager in developing a user-centered approach to self-service solutions
  • Assisting with identifying process improvements and designing new approaches and technology to enhance customer experience and process efficiency
  • Collaborating with stakeholders from all directorates and the Council’s IT provider (NEC)
  • Developing self-service and CRM systems, including e-forms, processes, users, and back-office system connectors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree standard of education or equivalent
  • A Level Standard of Education or equivalent
  • Formal Management Qualification
