About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Catering Manager to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering services, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our students and staff
  • Supervise and train a team of culinary staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
  • Manage inventory, budget, and resources to optimize catering operations
  • Collaborate with our culinary and service teams to ensure seamless execution of catering services
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, including students, staff, and parents
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of success in managing catering operations and teams
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
