Principal Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Principal Data Scientist to lead the development of AI solutions that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and drive the growth of our data science team.

About the Role:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that integrate LLMs into real-world applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Mentor and coach junior data scientists, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LLMs, machine learning, and AI technologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable code using Python and associated libraries.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Ensure best practices in data science, machine learning, and software development are followed across the team.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Python and its data science libraries.
  • Deep understanding of Large Language Models and their applications.
  • Strong experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members.
  • Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years in data science or machine learning, with a strong focus on LLMs and AI integration.
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
