Job Title: Maths and English Tutor

Prospero Teaching Careers is seeking an experienced and passionate Maths and English Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for creating and delivering 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost attainment levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to pupils
  • Plan and implement learning strategies to support pupils' educational development
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress
  • Work closely with Prospero Teaching Careers to ensure effective delivery of tuition

Requirements:

  • Experience tutoring Maths and English on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • QTS desirable but not essential
  • Ability to think creatively and work with challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with disengaged pupils

What We Offer:

  • Ongoing placement or until the young person returns to school
  • Hours dependent on the young person's needs
  • GBP25 - GBP30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
