About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Jarvis King. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, installation, relocation, commissioning, and repair work on various equipment, including heat exchangers, homogenizers, centrifugal separators, valves, pumps, fillers, and other process and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out service, installation, relocation, commissioning, and repair work on equipment
  • Develop good working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Attend regular service meetings
  • Maintain good communication with other Service staff and colleagues in other departments
  • Ensure all paperwork is fully completed, kept up to date, and submitted promptly as required
  • Help ensure that stock/parts are correctly booked to and from stores
Requirements
  • Active in seeking out additional sources of revenue from customers
  • Develop new skills and undertake training in order to progress career development
  • Assist in the training of other staff
  • Keep abreast and up to date of developments within our industries by reading relevant industry journals and attending appropriate courses
