Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Quality Controller to join our dynamic team in our Paint Shop department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Prep, Paint, and Polish techniques and a strong understanding of manufacturer standards and expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance: Oversee and ensure the quality of work across the Paint Shop, including Prep, Paint, and Polish stages.
- Compliance: Ensure all work aligns with manufacturer standards and meets customer expectations.
- Support: Support the ISO 9001 audit process, ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of in-process and finished work to guarantee adherence to specifications.
- Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to the team and address any quality-related issues promptly.
- Documentation: Accurately maintain and update all workshop documentation and records, ensuring all paperwork is filed correctly.
- Computer Systems: Use computer systems to record data, complete reports, and support audit requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the workshop team to continuously improve quality processes and procedures.
- Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Experience: Proven experience in a Paint Shop environment, specifically with Prep, Paint, and Polish techniques.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturer standards and quality expectations.
- Audit Experience: Experience with ISO 9001 audits and supporting quality management systems.
- Computer Literacy: Computer literacy is essential, with the ability to update and maintain records accurately.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
