Pay Rate: £11.87 per hour (Overtime: £17.81 p/h)

Location: On-site

Shifts: Monday - Friday (7am-3pm)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Randstad RIS. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for packing and unpacking household products, labelling and stacking products on to pallets, and monitoring products for quality and damage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packing and Unpacking: Work on a production line packing and unpacking household products, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Quality Control: Monitor products and carry out basic assessment and quality checks to identify and report poor quality and/or damaged products.
  • Labelling and Stacking: Label and stack products on to pallets following a layer pattern, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with team members to meet production targets and contribute to the success of our client's goals.
  • Health and Safety: Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements defined on work instructions or communicated in training.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with basic numeracy skills.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Team Player: Team player with high attention to detail and ability to work closely with others.
  • Close Inspection: Close inspection is a requirement for the day-to-day role.
