Job Title: Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative professional to take on a leadership role in the delivery of clinical care in a developmental capacity. As an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership, management, and advice within the Maternity service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and management of the intrapartum care settings, acting as a role model for staff.
  • Support the development of policies and procedures in performance, risk management, recruitment, and retention of health and safety.
  • Ensure the development, implementation, and regular review of protocols and guidelines in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Empower staff to create an environment that is challenging, stimulating, and supportive to individuals, promoting life-long learning in the improvement of patient care.
  • Support managers to ensure all areas are compliant with Trust and local training standards.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Significant experience in a leadership role within a Maternity service.
  • Excellent clinical and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
