Science Technician Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join our team at a vibrant school in Thetford on a full-time, long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare materials and equipment for lessons
  • Provide technical support for A Level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Manage chemicals and materials, ensuring a safe and healthy laboratory environment
  • Assist with examination apparatus and respond to chemical spills
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other technicians
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a school laboratory (advantageous)
  • Ability to use ICT
  • Relevant Science qualifications
