Job Overview
Oxfordshire City Council is seeking a motivated individual to assist senior engineers in investigating and solving problems related to water infrastructure as an Urban Drainage Modeller apprentice.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic modelling principles and be able to contribute to the design and analysis of treatment works, pumping stations, and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in investigating and solving problems related to water infrastructure
- Contribute to the design and analysis of treatment works, pumping stations, and pipelines
- Develop a strong understanding of hydraulic modelling principles
Requirements:
- Aged 16+
- Number of positions: 1
Working Hours: Flexible working hours will be considered for the right candidate.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract until 28 February 2025
Location: Didcot, Henley, High Wycombe and Princes Risborough
