Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Role

We're seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and be able to work on a variety of equipment, including complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment to ensure the continuous running of the production process.
  • Undertake fault finding and defect rectification to minimize downtime.
  • Work on a Dupont-style shift pattern, with 2 days, 1 off, 2 nights, 4 off, 4 days, 1 off, 3 nights, 4 off.
  • Contribute to the overall safe operation of plant and equipment, safety, quality, waste, and OEE targets.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical engineering, including fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics would be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
